# Get new contact

1. **Pick Agile CRM** as your source in the “New flow” section in the “Gears” menu. Click “Create.”

2. **Pick the connection** you wish to use after clicking the red gear and click “Continue.” You may also create a new Plug under “Create a connection.” GearPlug will run a quick test to check whether everything works.

GearPlug will check whether the connection functions properly before moving on. If it doesn’t, you won’t be able to continue setting up your Gear.

3. **Choose “Get new contact”** as your action and click “Create.”

4. **Create a test contact** in Agile CRM for GearPlug to draw de record’s data. This will execute the action’s trigger: A new contact.

**Create an entry in Agile CRM**: GearPlug needs a new entry to test that the data can be extracted. After this entry, all future logs will be imported automatically.

5. **Review the record** to make sure everything imported properly. Then, click “OK.”
