# New task status

1. **Select ClickUp** as your source app in the “Gears” menu and click “Create.”

2. **Pick the connection** you want to use, or create a new one, after clicking the red gear. Click “Continue.”

3. **Choose “New task status”** as your action, as well as the location you want to use, and click “Create.” GearPlug will ask for a test record, so create one in your account.

4. **Review the data** to make sure everything works properly, and click “OK” to finish the setup.
