Get new company

1. Select HubSpot as your source App and the connection you wish to use. You may also set up a new Plug from this screen.

GearPlug will check whether the connection functions properly before moving on. If it doesn’t, you won’t be able to continue setting up your Gear.

1. Choose “Get new company” and click “Create.”

1. Create a company in HubSpot so that GearPlug can use it as a data test. This will execute the connection’s trigger: the creation of a new register in the source app’s module.

Create an entry in HubSpot: GearPlug needs a new entry to test that the data can be extracted. After this entry, all future logs will be imported automatically.

1. Review the imported data to make sure everything works properly. If all fields are correct, click “OK.”

Empty fields: Under the imported log, you’ll find a drop-down list of “Empty Fields.” Here, you’ll find fields GearPlug can import—but weren’t used in the form.
