# Create deal

1. **Choose HubSpot** as your target app and pick the connection you want to use. If you don’t have one, you may create it from this screen. GearPlug will make a quick test to check that everything works.

GearPlug will check whether the connection functions properly before moving on. If it doesn’t, you won’t be able to continue setting up your Gear.

2. **Select “Create deal”** as your action. This will show a data template with the available fields in HubSpot.

3. **Click the red gear** to display the data template. Click each field to show the source fields and link them to your HubSpot fields.

4. **Click “Map”** once you’re done with your data template.

You may manually browse the field list or use the search bar at the top. You may also filter required and optional fields.

5. **Click “Add a target” or “Save”** to add another target app or save your current Gear, respectively.
