# Get new lead

1. **Select Intercom** as your source app in the “Gears” menu. Click “Create.”

2. **Choose the connection** you want to use and click “Continue.”

3. **Pick “Get new lead”** as your action and click “Create.” GearPlug will import the last record created, or ask to create a new one.

4. **Verify the imported data** to ensure everything is working. Click “OK” to finish.
