# Create your LabsMobile connection

**Oauth connection**: The first step is to install GearPlug in your account so that GearPlug may access the data.

To create your LabsMobile plug, you’ll need a user and an API token. Below, we’ll show you how to get it:
1. **Head over to “API Configuration”** under your username.
2. **Click “Generate new API Token”** and copy the token generated above the button.
### Set up access
1. **Head over to “My Apps”** at the top of your GearPlug dashboard.
2. **Select LabsMobile** in the drop-down menu under “New connection” and click “Create.”
3. **Fill in the fields** with your username and API Token as directed and click “Create.”
