# Target actions

As a target, MailChimp allows a couple of actions. Both are related to subscriber movement within your audiences:

* **New subscriber**: Creates a new subscriber in your audience.
* **Unsubscribe record from list**: Unsubscribes an existing contact in your list.

Gears only allow one action per target Plug. Thus, you’ll have to add two targets if you want to use both actions.
