# Update subscriber

1. **Select ManyChat** as your target, as well as the Plug you want to use. Click “Continue.”

2. **Choose “Create subscriber”** as your action and click "Continue" to display the data template.

3. **Fill in the data template**, linking source and target fields. You must fill in the required fields, but you may skip the optional ones. Click “Associate” once you’re done.

In the “Consent Phrase” field, make sure you type “Yes.” Otherwise, the action won’t work.

4. **Verify that your target is active** in the upper-right corner. Click “Add a target” or “Finish” to add more apps or save your Gear.
