# Send media template

1. **Select MessageBird WhatsApp** as your target. Click the red gear and pick the connection you want to use, or create a new one. Click “Continue.”

2. **Choose “Send media template”** as your action, as well as the template you want to send, its language, and the media type. Click “Continue.”

3. **Fill in the data template** with the corresponding fields. You’ll need the phone number’s field where you want to send the message. Click “Map” once you’re done.

The media URL refers to the URL where the file is stored. This can be a YouTube link, a Drive file link, or a link to any other hosting service.

4. **Verify your target is active** in the upper-right corner. Click “Add a target” or “Save” to add another app or save your Gear.
