# New contact

1. **Select Salesforce** as your source app under “New flow” in the “Gears” section and click “Create.”

2. **Choose the connection** you want to use, or create a new one, after clicking the red gear. Click “Continue.”

3. **Pick “New contact”** as your action and click “Create.” GearPlug will ask for a test record.

4. **Create a test record** in your chosen module for GearPlug to import the data. Review the data in the GearPlug interface to make sure everything works properly. Click “OK” to finish the setup.
