# Insert record into selected module

1. **Select SugarCRM** as your target app. Click the red gear to pick your connection and click “Continue.”

2. **Choose “Insert record into selected module”** as your action and the module you want to use. Click “Continue.” This will display the data template corresponding to the module you chose.

3. **Fill in the data template**, linking source and target fields. You must fill the required fields, but may skip optional ones. When you’re done, click “Map.”

If you don’t want to go through each field, you may use the search bar at the top. You can also filter required and optional fields.

4. **Verify your target is active** in the top-right corner of the block. Click “Add a target” or “Save” to add another app or save your finished Gear.
