# Create your Tidycal connection

**Oauth connection**: The first step is to install GearPlug in your account so that GearPlug may access the data.

#### Set up access

1. **Head over to “Plugs”** at the top of your GearPlug dashboard.

2. **Select Tidycal** from the drop-down menu under “New Plug” and click “Create”.

3. **Log into your Tidycal account** and grant the necessary permissions for the connection.
