# Get new contacts

1. **Select Tidycal** as your source under “New Gear” in the “Gears” menu.

2. **Pick the Plug** you want to use or create a new one. Click “Continue”.

3. **Choose “Get new contacts”** as your action and click “Continue”. GearPlug will ask for a test record, so create one.

4. **Verify that the data was imported** correctly and click “Close” to finish the setup.
