Create Plugs for your data

A Plug is GearPlug’s foundation. It allows the platform to connect to different apps and software to extract necessary data. Essentially, it’s the integration between GearPlug and your apps.

Plugs let GearPlug automate data extraction, transfers, and conversion from your app. You may create several Plugs for different apps, leaving GearPlug to take care of the data.

Plus, Plugs are quite versatile and adapt to several tasks. For instance, you may use a Plug to extract data, create a new register on your CRM, and send the data to other apps. Of course, it’s all automated!

How can you create a Plug?

Firstly, you must head over to GearPlug’s Apps module. You can do this by clicking on “My Apps” in the upper-right corner. From there, you may access the different software integration options.

In this section, you’ll find a list of all your Plugs, as well as options like adding, editing, and deleting Plugs.

Fully setting up your Plug is vital so that GearPlug can obtain the data from your apps. Otherwise, it won’t be able to access the necessary data. Or, you might get incorrect results.

Creating a new Plug is seamless and quick. You just need to choose your app, click “Create,” and follow the instructions. Then, you may immediately use it to integrate it with other apps via Gears.
