Get data from a row

1. Select Excel as your source app under “New flow” in the “Gears” section. Click “Create.”

1. Click the red gear to show the available connections. Choose which one you want to use, or create a new one. Click “Continue.”

GearPlug will check whether the connection functions properly before moving on. If it doesn’t, you won’t be able to continue setting up your Gear.

1. Choose “Get data from a row” as your action, as well as the workbook and worksheet you want to use. Click “Continue.”

1. Create a test record in your spreadsheet for GearPlug to import. Then, go back to GearPlug and make sure it drew the information correctly. Click “OK.”

Empty fields: Under the imported log, you’ll find a drop-down list of “Empty Fields.” Here, you’ll find fields GearPlug can import—but weren’t used in the form.
